l.o: to analyse a media text using Media Language.
Camerawork
The camera shot is a medium-long shot and this is given to show us more about the character. In this shot we can see that he has a gun, connoting that this is a spy movie. We can also see that he has a more determined/mad expression, which we wouldn't be able to see or take note of if it was a long shot. In addition, there are shadows, which shows that there are more things hidden in the background other than 007.
Mise-en-scene
The fact that 007 is wearing all black could signify that he is going to be sneaking around undercover, looking more commando then professional. Also, he has a gun and holster, showing that he knows what he is doing and is ready for what he is doing. By showing the watch on his left wrist means that it could be something important, such as a spy gadget, because if it wasn't important, it wouldn't be shown (or it could advertise a brand such as a rolex). As we can see, the poster has no background, so it could show a few things: either a) it can be set in multiple locations or b) This is set in a new location that has been undiscovered until now. From his facial expression, we can see that he is quite serious, meaning that the entire movie is a more serious - less fun - tone, possibly more aggressive.
Soundtrack
In the trailer we can here various diegetic sounds, such as champagne bottles, gunshots, vehicles screeching, planes flying, explosions and more. From the champagne bottles, we can see it is a more classy type movie. From the gunshots and explosion they leave us with the threat and expression of death and violence, The vehicles screeching can show that there is a fast pace and a lot of reckless driving, possibly signifying danger.
Editing:
In The trailer, we can see that the main cuts used are fading to black. This can show that the film is more dark and dramatic, also showing that these scenes don't happen one after the other, but are completely different time scenes. The fades are more fast paced towards the end and this shows more tension, drama and action in the movie, giving us more suspension in each scene as it comes to a close.

CameraWork
In the Tenet Trailer, we can see that Camerawork is used to show the importance of an object in a film. For example in the scene where the camera zooms into a cog and bullets, This gives the impression that these item could be used to help prevent WW3 (as they state they are trying to stop) and makes the audience curious as to what these items could possibly be used for and watch it to find out.
In addition, There are multiple over the shoulder shots. This means we could see from one characters point of view, as what they are seeing may be helpful to the situation, as we probably couldn't see it from a different Point Of View.
Mise-en-scene
In the poster, we can see that the character is holding a gun, this represents the fact that the show is an action/spy film and connotes it to be more aggressive and action packed, rather than sneaking around and everything being quiet. Also, in the poster, one of the characters is wearing a suit. This could connote a more professional standard, like the person has done this job multiple times before other than only just being recruited. The other character is wearing casual clothing, meaning they could be going undercover and trying to get information. This makes the audience invested into what the characters will discover as they continue their mission, or as to who is behind what they are working on.
From what we can see of the characters facial expression, he seems more determined and intense. This shows us that the character could be fighting in a difficult battle. By using this it hooks the audience into wondering who they are fighting against and what they're fighting for.
Iron Man

CameraWork:
In the trailer, a variety of different shot types are used to show characters and props. These are mainly used when the Iron man suit is in shot. this is because the suit is the main component of the film and is extremely important to the plot line. As we can see, the suit is quite bulky and looks extremely heavy, this can compel the audience into wondering how such a heavy, techie suit can both contain a human being, keep them alive and also help save the world.

Soundtrack:
In the trailer we can hear the sound of lasers being fired as Iron Man shoots people. This shows that their will be some intense fighting and if the audience enjoy fighting scenes in movies, they will want to watch it. In addition, we can hear intense music in the background, showing that this is more dramatic and action packed, so the music will give more tension and hook the viewer into watching it.
Mise-en-scene
Some of the props we can see are tony Starks face, the iron man suit and make-up. From his clothes, he is wearing a suit, which shows he is a rich business man. And in some of the scenes we can see that make-up is used to show that he is bleeding, as well as his facial expressions demonstrating that he is in pain. Some of the characters in the scenes have guns, and that shows that they are more dangerous characters and could be the bad guys in the movies.
