Magazine Front Covers
Thursday 12 November 2020 L/O: To identify the features on a magazine front cover; to explore genre codes and conventions. I think the Main image is the most important, as it is the largest and most likely to be seen first, hooking the audience in. It can also contain someone/something famous, so if a person is interested in the person/object, it will convince them to read the magazine. I think this magazine is a fashion magazine as the main image includes a man sat in a fancy position wearing a suit. In addition, the writing is in pink and black, which are two colours I relate to fashion. In addition, some of the cover lines talk about 'good looks' once again hinting at the fashion sense.
