Camerawork

Image
Thursday 28th January 2021 L/O: to explore the use of camerawork in films 1) The Joker 2) 3) Sonic 4)Avengers:  5) Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The shot type is a close up, by adding the detail of the city being visible in Miles' eyes. It can show the fear, and tension before he jumps off the building. The darker tone of the scene shows a more mysterious aspect to everything. We see this part of the narrative through Miles' eyes. "What's up Danger" by Blackway & Black Caviar is played in the background of this scene, showing that Miles is nervous, yet ready to face whatever dangers come his way.   In this scene, a far, wide shot is used as a viewing point from Miles Morales' eyes. It shows him looking at the area his dad is seen, while he is telling him to get up and continue fighting. The red lighting can indicated danger, the small pieces floating around can indicate something being broken, and maybe a sense of fear in such an intense moment.
