LCA: 17/18

Thursday 22nd June 2021           Marketing I would release my disaster movie at a time people would most likely be off work/school If mine were aimed at older teenagers i would release it when people are away from school, possibly the October half term because October is seen as more of a horror month and would make the creatures in my disaster movie seem more scary and intimidating. They chose to advertise Hobbs & Shaw alongside it because they are films with similar styles, such as action and a similar audience.  The marketing in India was attached to The Joker because The indian audiences preferred the more dramatic side of Tennet over The Joker.  The teaser trailers were released in august 2019, when it was due for 2020. The full trailer was in December. The tv spot was different because it was promoted in Fortnite. actors from James Bond to parachute out of a plane. Thursday 10th June 2021 L/O: To create an effective film poster that uses accurate genre & layout conventions. Task: create a film poster for a new, science fiction film. Thursday 17th June 2021 WWW: I Used genre conventions of blue and green colours in the poster. I used the gradient effect well and cut out the characters well. EBI: My actor name seems too large, i could possible shrink it a bit. My writing seems very built up at the bottom.

Tuesday 8th June 2021 L/O: To evaluate how well we used genre conventions and iMovie Task: change the genre / use iMovie correctly Feedback: Jump cuts seemed obvious Lost momentum towards the end Sections where they were talking with no sound seemed weird
