Vertical Integration:

The Big 6 companies dominate because they own their own personal Productions, Distribution and Exhibition. This means that most of the profits are brought back to them (other than the few profits they have to use for un-owned exhibitions).

ADR Mixers:

ADR mixers correct dialogue and sound that was un-needed and problematic in the original production (background sound, dialogue with lip-synching,cleans up audio) 

Gaffer: The Gaffer is the head of the Lighting and Power Department on a film set.

Grip: Makes sure the set and rigs are safe to use.

Pre-production -> production -> Post-Production

Pre-production: Planning elements involved in a film. This stage ends when the planning ends and the product begins to be produced. Includes script writing, getting the green light, hiring cast and crew.

Production: The process of acting, recording a film after having it green lighted. 

Post-Production: Editing (CGI)

Distribution: Getting the film publicity. Companies decide how many copies (prints) of a film to make. Starts at the same time of production.

Posters, Trailers, adverts, Billboards, Radio Stations, Newspaper, Sponsoring people (youtubers, streamers etc.)
