I would release my disaster movie at a time people would most likely be off work/school


If mine were aimed at older teenagers i would release it when people are away from school, possibly the October half term because October is seen as more of a horror month and would make the creatures in my disaster movie seem more scary and intimidating.

They chose to advertise Hobbs & Shaw alongside it because they are films with similar styles, such as action and a similar audience. 
The marketing in India was attached to The Joker because The indian audiences preferred the more dramatic side of Tennet over The Joker. 
The teaser trailers were released in august 2019, when it was due for 2020. The full trailer was in December.
The tv spot was different because it was promoted in Fortnite.

1) Collaborations with clothing brands, such as Nike for shoe publicity.
Work along side car brands like Aston Martin.
Collaborations with famous companies that make suits (like Gucci or oxxford) because James Bond usually wears a suit.

My Publicity Stunts: World Down Under

For my publicity stunt i was planning on collaborating with games like Fortnite or Minecraft and include easter eggs or "mods" in the game correlating to the movie, such as being able to mine the "gem" that summons the creatures, Boss battles against the creatures or character skins for the main protagonists and antagonists. I would release the movie during July/august times when teenagers are off school and I would release the trailers a few months to a year before the movie is released

I would invite the public to dress up as the demonic creatures and meet up in Birmingham where they could walk through the streets together, and meet-up at the Birmingham Odeon broadway plaza and view a screening of the trailer. I would hang posters on busses and outside cinema's a few weeks before it is released.

I would interview the main actors as if they are the characters and ask them how they felt during certain scenes in the movie (without spoiling anything).

I would make hoodies that are designed like the antagonists (the demonic creatures)

We could collaborate with Monster Energy Drink, because World Down Under's main antagonist's are monsters and the drink Monster fits with that semantic field.
Could make Social media accounts for the main characters and antagonists that will interact together.
